The Department of Geodetic Engineering and Surveying of the Central University of Venezuela, in a significant inter-institutional cooperation effort with the Geographic Institute of Venezuela Simón Bolívar (IGVSB), successfully completed the installation of the new Continuous Monitoring Network Station (REMOS) for the city of Caracas.
This continuous operating reference station (CORS) is a vital component that is integrated into the Venezuelan Continuous Satellite Monitoring Network. This network, fundamental for national Geodesy, currently has 7 CORS stations and is constantly expanding to ensure precise and reliable coverage throughout the territory.
