DIGA UCV Renews Its Image: Meet the New Logo!
The Department of Geodetic Engineering and Surveying of the Central University of Venezuela is pleased to announce the official presentation of its new visual identity. This change, which reflects the cutting-edge and excellence of Geodesy in the country, has been strategically designed to strengthen the presence of DIGA UCV on digital platforms and in the professional field.
The new image, fresh and representative, was conceived by Eng. José Blanco, a graduate of this institution, and initially arose as a symbol of recognition for his graduating class. However, its striking, original, and modern design resonated with the entire community, resulting in a piece that encapsulates the essence of Geodetic Engineering and Surveying.
The design not only projects the academic solidity of the UCV, the top-ranked university in Venezuela, but also incorporates visual elements that directly reference key technologies in the field, such as satellite positioning (GNSS) and geographic information systems (GIS).
This logo is a testament to the UCV talent and the active commitment of all department members: students, faculty, administrative staff, and alumni. Their active participation on and off campus, carrying UCV Geodetic Engineering to important national and international projects, is what truly elevates the name of our institution.
